My kids have had quite a few tennis sessions over the holiday breaks and they enjoy it, they always ask to come back again the next day. They tell me “our teacher is super nice”. It’s good because it’s not an overly crowded session, their ages are catered for and it is a great introduction to tennis for kids.

I always look forward to the sessions with Jay. The sessions are always good fun - whether it is a group or private session.  Jay is very encouraging. He observes and identifies specific areas we need to improve and point those out to us with a tailored solution. I heard about him before and now I recommend his sessions to everyone I know who is interested in tennis. Got my husband involved too and Jay is helping us get to the level where we can play together well in a sport we both enjoy.

I've not played tennis until I joined the tennis sessions at Decathlon taught by Jay. He has been my tennis instructor for the last 4 months and I must say I can play tennis now! Jay coaches me in group sessions as well as 1:1. He is very patient, explains the rules well and demonstrates the techniques step by step. He is encouraging and also gives constructive criticism when needed. From one session to the other we build on progression, learning new skills and strengthening the prior learning. He is also great with young children - on one Inset day, my children attended my tennis session and Jay inspired them to have a go at playing, which they really enjoyed. I highly recommend Jay

This was the first time my son played tennis: he absolutely loved the sessions and developed a keen interest in the sport. I had previously taken some lessons with Jay myself and I had already the opportunity to appreciate his professionalism and his great technical skills. Now I also appreciate his ability of make the sport interesting and fun for the little ones. I highly recommend him and my son will definitely want to join the camp during the next school break!
